Starting motivation: "I fell in love with ice skating through my passion for Hockey as I was growing up. I soon wanted to focus my energies on a 1 man sport instead of relying on my teammates. I put 2 and 2 together and found Speedskating."

Greatest Sporting Influence:  Casey FitzRandolph

Short term goals:  "Graduate from University as a professional engineer, love my friends and family, continue competing at the highest level for speedskating"

Advice for young athletes:  "Have fun with it and don't take it for granted. Being in a sport teaches you many lessons in life so take it seriously also. Do you best, don't get frustrated, keep on pushing until you reach your goals. Dream it. Believe it. Do it."
